The GOJI REPUBLIC products have a story that we are proud of and want to share it with you. It is founded on our love for nature and our desire to create unique products with real benefits you can enjoy every day.

A BRAND BORN FROM PASSION AND MANY YEARS OF EXPERTISE

As a result of perpetual research and development of goji farming in Transylvania, an authentic Romanian variety of goji has been created, certified by the EU - a fruit that deserves the title of superfood, given the numerous health benefits that its consumption brings.

As important as it is to take care of your health from the inside, it is also beneficial to take care of your body from the outside, considering the powerful impact of the ingredients we consume and apply to our skin. Starting from this idea, we began putting into practice everything we've learned all this time since we've been growing for our goji farm. That's how GOJI REPUBLIC was born, a premium brand of natural cosmetics whose main ingredient is goji berries grown in Transylvania, in the foothills of the mountains near Brasov, also known as "Dracula's Land".

The study of plants has been a part of my life for over 20 years, and my passion for skincare has led me to apply all this knowledge to the formulation of cosmetic products, based on the science of natural ingredients. I love combining valuable botanical extracts to give the skin what it really needs. Understanding the structure and needs of the skin is essential in developing effective cosmetics that do not contain harsh preservatives, micro-plastics, synthetic fragrances or colorants. This whole process can sometimes take more than 12 months, during which time I test hundreds of combinations to find the most effective formula that enhances the benefits of all the final ingredients.

Although I have a great passion for law and justice, I ended up loving agriculture, especially all the doors it opened for my husband and I professionally. In 2017 we started with a beautiful goji berry farm near Brasov. The plantation is already organically accredited, a process that took 4 very challenging years. In 2020, GOJI REPUBLIC was born as an idea, crafting a project where we wanted to bring everyone the benefits of the miraculous fruit on the outside, not just the inside. We hope that this project dear to us will win your hearts, as it did ours!

EDUARD CATARGI

FOUNDER & CEO
After finishing law school and a Master's degree in criminal sciences, out of a desire to make a change professionally, after a long period of research, I discovered the Transylvanian goji berry. With the idea of developing an original project in the Romanian agriculture, in 2017 we decided to join the goji family and work on the development of the goji culture and at the same time on the development of innovative products through which we can all enjoy the benefits and properties of this fruit. As a result, in 2020 the idea that today we call GOJI REPUBLIC took shape and through which we want, together with our partners in the cosmetics industry, to develop a wide range of skin care products based on this powerful goji fruit.

With extensive international academic and professional experience in business management and marketing, plus a deep passion for skincare, I joined Iulia and Eduard on this journey to create products with real and visible benefits, products that everyone can enjoy using every day. Moreover, my desire to always learn and improve has led me to get certified in skincare education by Harvard Medical School, knowledge that helps me to provide even more value to our customers. From the beginning of testing the formulas I knew the GOJI REPUBLIC products would become a staple in my skincare routine and I'm sure you'll love them just as much.

One of the values we believe in and relied on when we set up GOJI REPUBLIC is a deep respect for nature, which is why the whole process of making our cosmetics is as sustainable as possible, from the goji berries that come from our own plantation, to their collection and processing, packaging and transportation methods that limit the harmful impact on the environment. What's more, we join international programs and donate a portion of the proceedings to ensure a healthy environment for generations to come.
